   For a 1984 release, Tuscany Per Uomo deserves more attention than it gets. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Anise with Caraway, which is where the fragrance really shines. The opening is built around Lemon and Lavender — bright and immediately recognizable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I keep reaching for Tuscany Per Uomo more than I expected to. The heart is the best part for me: Anise and Caraway feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Anise with Caraway comes forward — smooth and well done. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   A friend passed me a decant of Tuscany Per Uomo (1984) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The first minutes are all about Lemon with a hint of Lavender — it grabs attention without being pushy. The heart is the best part for me: Anise and Caraway feel carefully balanced. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

Give it a little time and Anise with Caraway comes forward — smooth and well done. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.
