   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Adonis Awakens. Right away I get mostly Grapefruit alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. The base rests on Rose and Cashmere Wood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   A friend passed me a decant of Adonis Awakens (2022) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The opening is built around Grapefruit and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. The heart is the best part for me: Raspberry and Bulgarian Rose feel carefully balanced. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   For a 2022 release, Adonis Awakens deserves more attention than it gets. That first spray gives a lovely Grapefruit/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Grapefruit alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   My first Argos experience was this one, Adonis Awakens (2022). The base rests on Rose and Cashmere Wood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Rose and Cashmere Wood come through and give it real depth. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   Picked up a sample of Adonis Awakens after reading the community buzz (2022). Right away I get mostly Grapefruit alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. As it settles, Rose and Cashmere Wood come through and give it real depth. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I wanted to like it more than I did.
