   I picked up Odyssey Mandarin Sky (2023) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. That first spray gives a lovely Mandarin Orange/Orange impression that dries down smoothly. The opening is built around Mandarin Orange and Orange — bright and immediately recognizable. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I’ve been wearing Odyssey Mandarin Sky on and off for a few weeks now (2023). The very first sniff is crisp Mandarin Orange with Orange peeking through, very much my kind of start. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Caramel with Tonka Bean, which is where the fragrance really shines. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I keep reaching for Odyssey Mandarin Sky more than I expected to. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Caramel with Tonka Bean, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Caramel and Tonka Bean feel carefully balanced. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   Everyone keeps talking about Odyssey Mandarin Sky, so I finally gave it a proper test. The very first sniff is crisp Mandarin Orange with Orange peeking through, very much my kind of start. That first spray gives a lovely Mandarin Orange/Orange impression that dries down smoothly. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

Give it a little time and Caramel with Tonka Bean comes forward — smooth and well done. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

As it settles, Ambroxan and Cedar come through and give it real depth. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.
