   For a 2013 release, Cedrat Enivrant deserves more attention than it gets. The drydown leans on Vetiver plus elemi and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. As it settles, Vetiver and elemi come through and give it real depth. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   Picked up a sample of Cedrat Enivrant after reading the community buzz (2013). Right away I get mostly Citron alongside Lime, fresh and very easy to wear. The base rests on Vetiver and elemi — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

That first spray gives a lovely Citron/Lime impression that dries down smoothly. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   A friend passed me a decant of Cedrat Enivrant (2013) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The very first sniff is crisp Citron with Lime peeking through, very much my kind of start. As it settles, Vetiver and elemi come through and give it real depth. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   My first Atelier Cologne experience was this one, Cedrat Enivrant (2013). Right away I get mostly Citron alongside Lime, fresh and very easy to wear. The opening is built around Citron and Lime — bright and immediately recognizable. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Mint with Juniper Berries, which is where the fragrance really shines. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

The composition is well made but not for me.
