   Atelier Cologne knows how to compose, and Iris Rebelle (2018) is proof. Give it a little time and Iris with Lavender comes forward — smooth and well done. The base rests on White Musk and Guaiac Wood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   I have owned Iris Rebelle for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Give it a little time and Iris with Lavender comes forward — smooth and well done. As it settles, White Musk and Guaiac Wood come through and give it real depth. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   A friend passed me a decant of Iris Rebelle (2018) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The base rests on White Musk and Guaiac Wood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, White Musk and Guaiac Wood come through and give it real depth. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   For a 2018 release, Iris Rebelle deserves more attention than it gets. Right away I get mostly Calabrian bergamot alongside Black Pepper, fresh and very easy to wear. The heart is the best part for me: Iris and Lavender feel carefully balanced. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I keep reaching for Iris Rebelle more than I expected to. The drydown leans on White Musk plus Guaiac Wood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The heart is the best part for me: Iris and Lavender feel carefully balanced. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
