   A couple of wears in, Orange Sanguine has really grown on me. Right away I get mostly Blood Orange alongside Bitter Orange, fresh and very easy to wear. As it settles, Sandalwood and Amber come through and give it real depth. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   A decant of Orange Sanguine sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into African Geranium with Egyptian Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. Right away I get mostly Blood Orange alongside Bitter Orange, fresh and very easy to wear. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Orange Sanguine. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into African Geranium with Egyptian Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. As it settles, Sandalwood and Amber come through and give it real depth. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I have owned Orange Sanguine for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The heart is the best part for me: African Geranium and Egyptian Jasmine feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and African Geranium with Egyptian Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   Everyone keeps talking about Orange Sanguine, so I finally gave it a proper test. The opening is built around Blood Orange and Bitter Orange — bright and immediately recognizable. The very first sniff is crisp Blood Orange with Bitter Orange peeking through, very much my kind of start. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

The drydown leans on Sandalwood plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

The first minutes are all about Blood Orange with a hint of Bitter Orange — it grabs attention without being pushy. Give it a little time and African Geranium with Egyptian Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I would happily buy a full bottle.
