   I have owned Avon Luck for Her for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Give it a little time and White Flowers with Night blooming Cereus comes forward — smooth and well done. The first minutes are all about Red Berries with a hint of Mandarin Orange — it grabs attention without being pushy. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   My first Avon experience was this one, Avon Luck for Her (2014). The heart is the best part for me: White Flowers and Night blooming Cereus feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and White Flowers with Night blooming Cereus comes forward — smooth and well done. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   A friend passed me a decant of Avon Luck for Her (2014) and I wasn’t prepared for it. Right away I get mostly Red Berries alongside Mandarin Orange, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Red Berries with a hint of Mandarin Orange — it grabs attention without being pushy. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I wanted to like it more than I did.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into White Flowers with Night blooming Cereus, which is where the fragrance really shines. Give it a little time and White Flowers with Night blooming Cereus comes forward — smooth and well done. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   I’ve been wearing Avon Luck for Her on and off for a few weeks now (2014). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into White Flowers with Night blooming Cereus, which is where the fragrance really shines. The base rests on Sandalowood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. The composition is well made but not for me.

The very first sniff is crisp Red Berries with Mandarin Orange peeking through, very much my kind of start. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   For a 2014 release, Avon Luck for Her deserves more attention than it gets. The drydown leans on Sandalowood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The base rests on Sandalowood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
