   Avon knows how to compose, and Far Away Splendoria (2022) is proof. The base rests on Tonka Bean and Bourbon Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Tonka Bean and Bourbon Vanilla come through and give it real depth. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   A friend passed me a decant of Far Away Splendoria (2022) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The base rests on Tonka Bean and Bourbon Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. That first spray gives a lovely White oud/Dates impression that dries down smoothly. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   I keep reaching for Far Away Splendoria more than I expected to. The heart is the best part for me: Plum and Gardenia feel carefully balanced. The drydown leans on Tonka Bean plus Bourbon Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I have owned Far Away Splendoria for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The drydown leans on Tonka Bean plus Bourbon Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around White oud and Dates — bright and immediately recognizable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Far Away Splendoria. The very first sniff is crisp White oud with Dates peeking through, very much my kind of start. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Plum with Gardenia, which is where the fragrance really shines. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.
