   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Imari Elixir 2015. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Rose with Ylang-Ylang, which is where the fragrance really shines. As it settles, Vanilla and Red Amber come through and give it real depth. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   I’ve been wearing Imari Elixir 2015 on and off for a few weeks now (2015). The heart is the best part for me: Rose and Ylang-Ylang feel carefully balanced. As it settles, Vanilla and Red Amber come through and give it real depth. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I keep reaching for Imari Elixir 2015 more than I expected to. The opening is built around Blackberry and Green Apple — bright and immediately recognizable. The first minutes are all about Blackberry with a hint of Green Apple — it grabs attention without being pushy. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.
