   I picked up Incandessence (2000) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The opening is built around Orchid and Lily-of-the-Valley — bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Orchid/Lily-of-the-Valley impression that dries down smoothly. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   For a 2000 release, Incandessence deserves more attention than it gets. The base rests on Orchid — warm, grounded and easy to live with. That first spray gives a lovely Orchid/Lily-of-the-Valley impression that dries down smoothly. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   A couple of wears in, Incandessence has really grown on me. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Tulip with Peony, which is where the fragrance really shines. The first minutes are all about Orchid with a hint of Lily-of-the-Valley — it grabs attention without being pushy. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

Right away I get mostly Orchid alongside Lily-of-the-Valley, fresh and very easy to wear. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

The opening is built around Orchid and Lily-of-the-Valley — bright and immediately recognizable. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I would happily buy a full bottle.
