   A couple of wears in, Sweet Honesty has really grown on me. The opening is built around Lily-of-the-Valley and Aldehydes — bright and immediately recognizable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Hyacinth with Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   A decant of Sweet Honesty sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The very first sniff is crisp Lily-of-the-Valley with Aldehydes peeking through, very much my kind of start. Give it a little time and Hyacinth with Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   I’ve been wearing Sweet Honesty on and off for a few weeks now (1973). That first spray gives a lovely Lily-of-the-Valley/Aldehydes impression that dries down smoothly. Give it a little time and Hyacinth with Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I picked up Sweet Honesty (1973) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The first minutes are all about Lily-of-the-Valley with a hint of Aldehydes — it grabs attention without being pushy. The very first sniff is crisp Lily-of-the-Valley with Aldehydes peeking through, very much my kind of start. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

The heart is the best part for me: Hyacinth and Rose feel carefully balanced. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   My first Avon experience was this one, Sweet Honesty (1973). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Hyacinth with Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. The base rests on Musk and Honey — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I have owned Sweet Honesty for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. That first spray gives a lovely Lily-of-the-Valley/Aldehydes impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Lily-of-the-Valley alongside Aldehydes, fresh and very easy to wear. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.
