   I picked up Azzaro Chrome Aqua (2019) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Sea Notes with Basil, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Sea Notes and Basil feel carefully balanced. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I keep reaching for Azzaro Chrome Aqua more than I expected to. Right away I get mostly Grapefruit alongside Green Apple, fresh and very easy to wear. The heart is the best part for me: Sea Notes and Basil feel carefully balanced. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

The opening is built around Grapefruit and Green Apple — bright and immediately recognizable. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

The opening is built around Grapefruit and Green Apple — bright and immediately recognizable. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

The base rests on Cypress and Vetiver — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I would happily buy a full bottle.
