   Everyone keeps talking about Chrome Sport, so I finally gave it a proper test. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Ginger with Water Notes, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Ginger and Water Notes feel carefully balanced. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   My first Azzaro experience was this one, Chrome Sport (2010). The very first sniff is crisp Grapefruit with Amalfi Lemon peeking through, very much my kind of start. That first spray gives a lovely Grapefruit/Amalfi Lemon impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   For a 2010 release, Chrome Sport deserves more attention than it gets. The base rests on Musk and Virginia Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. That first spray gives a lovely Grapefruit/Amalfi Lemon impression that dries down smoothly. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I picked up Chrome Sport (2010) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. As it settles, Musk and Virginia Cedar come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Musk plus Virginia Cedar and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I have owned Chrome Sport for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Right away I get mostly Grapefruit alongside Amalfi Lemon, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Grapefruit with a hint of Amalfi Lemon — it grabs attention without being pushy. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
