   Everyone keeps talking about Decibel, so I finally gave it a proper test. The opening is built around Licorice and Aldehydes — bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Licorice/Aldehydes impression that dries down smoothly. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   Everyone keeps talking about Decibel, so I finally gave it a proper test. Right away I get mostly Licorice alongside Aldehydes, fresh and very easy to wear. The heart is the best part for me: Incense and Violet feel carefully balanced. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   A couple of wears in, Decibel has really grown on me. The opening is built around Licorice and Aldehydes — bright and immediately recognizable. The first minutes are all about Licorice with a hint of Aldehydes — it grabs attention without being pushy. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   For a 2011 release, Decibel deserves more attention than it gets. The first minutes are all about Licorice with a hint of Aldehydes — it grabs attention without being pushy. The heart is the best part for me: Incense and Violet feel carefully balanced. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.
