   For a 2005 release, Silver Black deserves more attention than it gets. The opening is built around Apple and Lime — bright and immediately recognizable. As it settles, Patchouli and White Musk come through and give it real depth. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   My first Azzaro experience was this one, Silver Black (2005). Right away I get mostly Apple alongside Lime, fresh and very easy to wear. The opening is built around Apple and Lime — bright and immediately recognizable. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   A friend passed me a decant of Silver Black (2005) and I wasn’t prepared for it. That first spray gives a lovely Apple/Lime impression that dries down smoothly. The heart is the best part for me: Juniper and Coriander feel carefully balanced. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   Azzaro knows how to compose, and Silver Black (2005) is proof. The first minutes are all about Apple with a hint of Lime — it grabs attention without being pushy. The opening is built around Apple and Lime — bright and immediately recognizable. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

As it settles, Patchouli and White Musk come through and give it real depth. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.
