   I picked up A Thousand Wishes (2014) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The heart is the best part for me: Peony and Freesia feel carefully balanced. That first spray gives a lovely Champagne/Carambola (Star Fruit) impression that dries down smoothly. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I keep reaching for A Thousand Wishes more than I expected to. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Peony with Freesia, which is where the fragrance really shines. Give it a little time and Peony with Freesia comes forward — smooth and well done. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   A friend passed me a decant of A Thousand Wishes (2014) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The drydown leans on Sugar plus Almond cream and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The heart is the best part for me: Peony and Freesia feel carefully balanced. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.
