   A decant of Rouge Smoking Extrait sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The opening is built around Cherry and Almond — bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Cherry/Almond impression that dries down smoothly. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I keep reaching for Rouge Smoking Extrait more than I expected to. The base rests on Oud and Rum — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The heart is the best part for me: Peru Balsam and Milk feel carefully balanced. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   I’ve been wearing Rouge Smoking Extrait on and off for a few weeks now (2024). The very first sniff is crisp Cherry with Almond peeking through, very much my kind of start. As it settles, Oud and Rum come through and give it real depth. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

The base rests on Oud and Rum — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   Picked up a sample of Rouge Smoking Extrait after reading the community buzz (2024). The base rests on Oud and Rum — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Give it a little time and Peru Balsam with Milk comes forward — smooth and well done. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.
