   Everyone keeps talking about Vanille Leather, so I finally gave it a proper test. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Tuberose with Orange Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. Give it a little time and Tuberose with Orange Blossom comes forward — smooth and well done. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I have owned Vanille Leather for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The heart is the best part for me: Tuberose and Orange Blossom feel carefully balanced. Right away I get mostly Violet alongside Pink Pepper, fresh and very easy to wear. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Vanille Leather. That first spray gives a lovely Violet/Pink Pepper impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Leather and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I would happily buy a full bottle.

The opening is built around Violet and Pink Pepper — bright and immediately recognizable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

As it settles, Vanilla and Leather come through and give it real depth. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

The base rests on Vanilla and Leather — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   I’ve been wearing Vanille Leather on and off for a few weeks now (2023). The opening is built around Violet and Pink Pepper — bright and immediately recognizable. The very first sniff is crisp Violet with Pink Pepper peeking through, very much my kind of start. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
