   Bentley knows how to compose, and Bentley for Men Absolute (2014) is proof. The opening is built around Pink Pepper and Ginger — bright and immediately recognizable. The heart is the best part for me: Olibanum and Papyrus feel carefully balanced. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   Everyone keeps talking about Bentley for Men Absolute, so I finally gave it a proper test. The very first sniff is crisp Pink Pepper with Ginger peeking through, very much my kind of start. The heart is the best part for me: Olibanum and Papyrus feel carefully balanced. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I picked up Bentley for Men Absolute (2014) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The first minutes are all about Pink Pepper with a hint of Ginger — it grabs attention without being pushy. The base rests on Atlas Cedar and Agarwood (Oud) — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I have owned Bentley for Men Absolute for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The very first sniff is crisp Pink Pepper with Ginger peeking through, very much my kind of start. Right away I get mostly Pink Pepper alongside Ginger, fresh and very easy to wear. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   Bentley knows how to compose, and Bentley for Men Absolute (2014) is proof. The drydown leans on Atlas Cedar plus Agarwood (Oud) and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Olibanum with Papyrus, which is where the fragrance really shines. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   For a 2014 release, Bentley for Men Absolute deserves more attention than it gets. That first spray gives a lovely Pink Pepper/Ginger impression that dries down smoothly. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
