   A decant of Bleecker Street sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The heart is the best part for me: Cedar and Jasmine feel carefully balanced. Right away I get mostly Violet Leaf alongside Blueberry, fresh and very easy to wear. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   Everyone keeps talking about Bleecker Street, so I finally gave it a proper test. The opening is built around Violet Leaf and Blueberry — bright and immediately recognizable. The very first sniff is crisp Violet Leaf with Blueberry peeking through, very much my kind of start. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I wanted to like it more than I did.

The base rests on Oakmoss and Suede — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

Give it a little time and Cedar with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.
