I’ve been wearing Hamptons on and off for a few weeks now (2005). The base rests on Musk and Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Jasmine with Turkish Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

I’ve been wearing Hamptons on and off for a few weeks now (2005). Give it a little time and Jasmine with Turkish Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. The opening is built around Bergamot and Lime (Linden) Blossom — bright and immediately recognizable. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

I have owned Hamptons for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The very first sniff is crisp Bergamot with Lime (Linden) Blossom peeking through, very much my kind of start. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Jasmine with Turkish Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

A couple of wears in, Hamptons has really grown on me. The first minutes are all about Bergamot with a hint of Lime (Linden) Blossom — it grabs attention without being pushy. That first spray gives a lovely Bergamot/Lime (Linden) Blossom impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

I’ve been wearing Hamptons on and off for a few weeks now (2005). The first minutes are all about Bergamot with a hint of Lime (Linden) Blossom — it grabs attention without being pushy. The drydown leans on Musk plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. The composition is well made but not for me.

A decant of Hamptons sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. That first spray gives a lovely Bergamot/Lime (Linden) Blossom impression that dries down smoothly. The base rests on Musk and Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.
