   A couple of wears in, Iris de Syracuse has really grown on me. That first spray gives a lovely Pear/Pepper impression that dries down smoothly. The very first sniff is crisp Pear with Pepper peeking through, very much my kind of start. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   Picked up a sample of Iris de Syracuse after reading the community buzz (2017). The opening is built around Pear and Pepper — bright and immediately recognizable. Give it a little time and Iris with Heliotrope comes forward — smooth and well done. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   My first Boucheron experience was this one, Iris de Syracuse (2017). Right away I get mostly Pear alongside Pepper, fresh and very easy to wear. The heart is the best part for me: Iris and Heliotrope feel carefully balanced. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I would happily buy a full bottle.

As it settles, White Musk and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   I have owned Iris de Syracuse for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The opening is built around Pear and Pepper — bright and immediately recognizable. Give it a little time and Iris with Heliotrope comes forward — smooth and well done. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   I’ve been wearing Iris de Syracuse on and off for a few weeks now (2017). The drydown leans on White Musk plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The base rests on White Musk and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

The heart is the best part for me: Iris and Heliotrope feel carefully balanced. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I would happily buy a full bottle.
