   A decant of Jaipur Bracelet sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The drydown leans on Cashmeran plus Iris and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The base rests on Cashmeran and Iris — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   I picked up Jaipur Bracelet (2012) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. That first spray gives a lovely Lemon Verbena/Bitter Orange impression that dries down smoothly. Give it a little time and Hyacinth with Lily-of-the-Valley comes forward — smooth and well done. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   For a 2012 release, Jaipur Bracelet deserves more attention than it gets. That first spray gives a lovely Lemon Verbena/Bitter Orange impression that dries down smoothly. The heart is the best part for me: Hyacinth and Lily-of-the-Valley feel carefully balanced. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

The very first sniff is crisp Lemon Verbena with Bitter Orange peeking through, very much my kind of start. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

The drydown leans on Cashmeran plus Iris and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.
