   My first Brocard experience was this one, Tartufo (2022). Right away I get mostly Ginger, fresh and very easy to wear. That first spray gives a lovely Ginger impression that dries down smoothly. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   Picked up a sample of Tartufo after reading the community buzz (2022). The heart is the best part for me: Palisander Rosewood and Violet feel carefully balanced. As it settles, Balsamic notes and White Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   A friend passed me a decant of Tartufo (2022) and I wasn’t prepared for it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Palisander Rosewood with Violet, which is where the fragrance really shines. Right away I get mostly Ginger, fresh and very easy to wear. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   A couple of wears in, Tartufo has really grown on me. The very first sniff is crisp Ginger, very much my kind of start. The base rests on Balsamic notes and White Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.
