   A couple of wears in, Burberry Men has really grown on me. That first spray gives a lovely Mint/Lavender impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Mint alongside Lavender, fresh and very easy to wear. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   My first Burberry experience was this one, Burberry Men (1995). As it settles, Musk and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. The base rests on Musk and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   Everyone keeps talking about Burberry Men, so I finally gave it a proper test. Right away I get mostly Mint alongside Lavender, fresh and very easy to wear. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Cedar with Sandalwood, which is where the fragrance really shines. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   Everyone keeps talking about Burberry Men, so I finally gave it a proper test. Give it a little time and Cedar with Sandalwood comes forward — smooth and well done. As it settles, Musk and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. The composition is well made but not for me.

   For a 1995 release, Burberry Men deserves more attention than it gets. The opening is built around Mint and Lavender — bright and immediately recognizable. The first minutes are all about Mint with a hint of Lavender — it grabs attention without being pushy. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

    I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Burberry Men. The very first sniff is crisp Mint with Lavender peeking through, very much my kind of start. The heart is the best part for me: Cedar and Sandalwood feel carefully balanced. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.
