   I keep reaching for Blv more than I expected to. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Wisteria with Flax, which is where the fragrance really shines. Give it a little time and Wisteria with Flax comes forward — smooth and well done. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

As it settles, Musk and Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   For a 2000 release, Blv deserves more attention than it gets. As it settles, Musk and Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. That first spray gives a lovely Ginger/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

The base rests on Musk and Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

The opening is built around Ginger and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
