   I picked up Omnia Amethyste (2006) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The base rests on Heliotrope and Woodsy Notes — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Right away I get mostly Green Notes alongside Pink Grapefruit, fresh and very easy to wear. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   I have owned Omnia Amethyste for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. As it settles, Heliotrope and Woodsy Notes come through and give it real depth. The opening is built around Green Notes and Pink Grapefruit — bright and immediately recognizable. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   Everyone keeps talking about Omnia Amethyste, so I finally gave it a proper test. The base rests on Heliotrope and Woodsy Notes — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The heart is the best part for me: Iris and Bulgarian Rose feel carefully balanced. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

That first spray gives a lovely Green Notes/Pink Grapefruit impression that dries down smoothly. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Iris with Bulgarian Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   For a 2006 release, Omnia Amethyste deserves more attention than it gets. Give it a little time and Iris with Bulgarian Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. The very first sniff is crisp Green Notes with Pink Grapefruit peeking through, very much my kind of start. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I would happily buy a full bottle.
