   I picked up Apple Brandy on the Rocks (2021) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The very first sniff is crisp Cardamom with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. The drydown leans on Cedar plus Ambroxan and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   Everyone keeps talking about Apple Brandy on the Rocks, so I finally gave it a proper test. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Apple with Rum, which is where the fragrance really shines. The first minutes are all about Cardamom with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Apple with Rum, which is where the fragrance really shines. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
