   My first Byredo experience was this one, Desert Dawn (2024). As it settles, Musk and Papyrus come through and give it real depth. Give it a little time and Sandalwood with Cedarwood comes forward — smooth and well done. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   Everyone keeps talking about Desert Dawn, so I finally gave it a proper test. The heart is the best part for me: Sandalwood and Cedarwood feel carefully balanced. Right away I get mostly Rose Petals alongside Cardamom, fresh and very easy to wear. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   A couple of wears in, Desert Dawn has really grown on me. Right away I get mostly Rose Petals alongside Cardamom, fresh and very easy to wear. The heart is the best part for me: Sandalwood and Cedarwood feel carefully balanced. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
