   My first Byredo experience was this one, Gypsy Water (2008). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Pine needles with Incense, which is where the fragrance really shines. That first spray gives a lovely Juniper/Lemon impression that dries down smoothly. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

The very first sniff is crisp Juniper with Lemon peeking through, very much my kind of start. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I would happily buy a full bottle.
