   I picked up Lil Fleur (2020) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The base rests on Ambergris and Woody Notes — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown leans on Ambergris plus Woody Notes and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   Byredo knows how to compose, and Lil Fleur (2020) is proof. As it settles, Ambergris and Woody Notes come through and give it real depth. Give it a little time and Damask Rose with Leather comes forward — smooth and well done. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   I keep reaching for Lil Fleur more than I expected to. Give it a little time and Damask Rose with Leather comes forward — smooth and well done. That first spray gives a lovely Saffron/Cassis impression that dries down smoothly. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I would happily buy a full bottle.
