   For a 2002 release, Gloria deserves more attention than it gets. Give it a little time and Vanilla with Amber comes forward — smooth and well done. The base rests on Cherry and Almond — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   I picked up Gloria (2002) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The very first sniff is crisp Amaretto with Amber peeking through, very much my kind of start. The drydown leans on Cherry plus Almond and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   Picked up a sample of Gloria after reading the community buzz (2002). That first spray gives a lovely Amaretto/Amber impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Amaretto alongside Amber, fresh and very easy to wear. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I wanted to like it more than I did.

Right away I get mostly Amaretto alongside Amber, fresh and very easy to wear. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

Sadly this one does not work on my skin.
