For a 2007 release, Liberté deserves more attention than it gets. That first spray gives a lovely Orange/Bitter Orange impression that dries down smoothly. The opening is built around Orange and Bitter Orange — bright and immediately recognizable. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Liberté. The first minutes are all about Orange with a hint of Bitter Orange — it grabs attention without being pushy. Give it a little time and Marmalade with Sugar comes forward — smooth and well done. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. The composition is well made but not for me.

I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Liberté. The very first sniff is crisp Orange with Bitter Orange peeking through, very much my kind of start. The first minutes are all about Orange with a hint of Bitter Orange — it grabs attention without being pushy. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I would happily buy a full bottle.

I picked up Liberté (2007) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Right away I get mostly Orange alongside Bitter Orange, fresh and very easy to wear. The very first sniff is crisp Orange with Bitter Orange peeking through, very much my kind of start. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

A friend passed me a decant of Liberté (2007) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The opening is built around Orange and Bitter Orange — bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Orange/Bitter Orange impression that dries down smoothly. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I would happily buy a full bottle.

My first Cacharel experience was this one, Liberté (2007). The drydown leans on Patchouli plus Vanille and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. As it settles, Patchouli and Vanille come through and give it real depth. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

Picked up a sample of Liberté after reading the community buzz (2007). The opening is built around Orange and Bitter Orange — bright and immediately recognizable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Marmalade with Sugar, which is where the fragrance really shines. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I wanted to like it more than I did.

For a 2007 release, Liberté deserves more attention than it gets. The drydown leans on Patchouli plus Vanille and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The base rests on Patchouli and Vanille — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

I keep reaching for Liberté more than I expected to. As it settles, Patchouli and Vanille come through and give it real depth. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Marmalade with Sugar, which is where the fragrance really shines. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

Cacharel knows how to compose, and Liberté (2007) is proof. The first minutes are all about Orange with a hint of Bitter Orange — it grabs attention without being pushy. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Marmalade with Sugar, which is where the fragrance really shines. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

Everyone keeps talking about Liberté, so I finally gave it a proper test. The very first sniff is crisp Orange with Bitter Orange peeking through, very much my kind of start. The heart is the best part for me: Marmalade and Sugar feel carefully balanced. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

The drydown leans on Patchouli plus Vanille and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

Picked up a sample of Liberté after reading the community buzz (2007). Right away I get mostly Orange alongside Bitter Orange, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Orange with a hint of Bitter Orange — it grabs attention without being pushy. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
