   Everyone keeps talking about Contradiction, so I finally gave it a proper test. Give it a little time and Pepper with Cardamom comes forward — smooth and well done. The heart is the best part for me: Pepper and Cardamom feel carefully balanced. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   I’ve been wearing Contradiction on and off for a few weeks now (1999). The very first sniff is crisp Lime with Lavender peeking through, very much my kind of start. The opening is built around Lime and Lavender — bright and immediately recognizable. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   My first Calvin Klein experience was this one, Contradiction (1999). The base rests on Vetiver and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The opening is built around Lime and Lavender — bright and immediately recognizable. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

That first spray gives a lovely Lime/Lavender impression that dries down smoothly. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.
