   My first Calvin Klein experience was this one, Euphoria Men (2006). The first minutes are all about Ginger with a hint of Pepper — it grabs attention without being pushy. The very first sniff is crisp Ginger with Pepper peeking through, very much my kind of start. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   I picked up Euphoria Men (2006) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The opening is built around Ginger and Pepper — bright and immediately recognizable. Right away I get mostly Ginger alongside Pepper, fresh and very easy to wear. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   A friend passed me a decant of Euphoria Men (2006) and I wasn’t prepared for it. As it settles, Amber and Suede come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Amber plus Suede and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I have owned Euphoria Men for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. That first spray gives a lovely Ginger/Pepper impression that dries down smoothly. Give it a little time and Black Basil with Sage comes forward — smooth and well done. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Black Basil with Sage, which is where the fragrance really shines. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.
