   A couple of wears in, Carat has really grown on me. The drydown leans on Mimosa plus White Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The heart is the best part for me: Hyacinth and Tulip feel carefully balanced. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   For a 2018 release, Carat deserves more attention than it gets. The heart is the best part for me: Hyacinth and Tulip feel carefully balanced. As it settles, Mimosa and White Musk come through and give it real depth. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   A couple of wears in, Carat has really grown on me. The very first sniff is crisp Green Notes with Pear peeking through, very much my kind of start. The first minutes are all about Green Notes with a hint of Pear — it grabs attention without being pushy. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

The first minutes are all about Green Notes with a hint of Pear — it grabs attention without being pushy. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   Everyone keeps talking about Carat, so I finally gave it a proper test. The opening is built around Green Notes and Pear — bright and immediately recognizable. Right away I get mostly Green Notes alongside Pear, fresh and very easy to wear. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

Sadly this one does not work on my skin.
