   I have owned Declaration Essence for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The heart is the best part for me: Geranium and Lemon feel carefully balanced. The first minutes are all about Tea with a hint of Orange Blossom — it grabs attention without being pushy. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   A couple of wears in, Declaration Essence has really grown on me. The drydown leans on Vetiver plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The heart is the best part for me: Geranium and Lemon feel carefully balanced. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

Right away I get mostly Tea alongside Orange Blossom, fresh and very easy to wear. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I picked up Declaration Essence (2001) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Geranium with Lemon, which is where the fragrance really shines. That first spray gives a lovely Tea/Orange Blossom impression that dries down smoothly. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
