   I picked up La Panthere (2014) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. As it settles, Oakmoss and Musk come through and give it real depth. Give it a little time and Gardenia with Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about La Panthere. Right away I get mostly Dried Fruits alongside Rhubarb, fresh and very easy to wear. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Gardenia with Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   For a 2014 release, La Panthere deserves more attention than it gets. The first minutes are all about Dried Fruits with a hint of Rhubarb — it grabs attention without being pushy. That first spray gives a lovely Dried Fruits/Rhubarb impression that dries down smoothly. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
