   Picked up a sample of La Tosca after reading the community buzz (2015). The opening is built around Italian Lemon and Green Mandarin — bright and immediately recognizable. The very first sniff is crisp Italian Lemon with Green Mandarin peeking through, very much my kind of start. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   I picked up La Tosca (2015) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The heart is the best part for me: Violet Leaf and Eucalyptus feel carefully balanced. That first spray gives a lovely Italian Lemon/Green Mandarin impression that dries down smoothly. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   For a 2015 release, La Tosca deserves more attention than it gets. The first minutes are all about Italian Lemon with a hint of Green Mandarin — it grabs attention without being pushy. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Violet Leaf with Eucalyptus, which is where the fragrance really shines. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting.    I have owned La Tosca for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Violet Leaf with Eucalyptus, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown leans on Musk plus Patchouli and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. The composition is well made but not for me.
