   My first Chanel experience was this one, Chance Eau Tendre (2010). Right away I get mostly Quince alongside Grapefruit, fresh and very easy to wear. That first spray gives a lovely Quince/Grapefruit impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   A couple of wears in, Chance Eau Tendre has really grown on me. That first spray gives a lovely Quince/Grapefruit impression that dries down smoothly. The opening is built around Quince and Grapefruit — bright and immediately recognizable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

The first minutes are all about Quince with a hint of Grapefruit — it grabs attention without being pushy. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. The composition is well made but not for me.

Right away I get mostly Quince alongside Grapefruit, fresh and very easy to wear. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   A couple of wears in, Chance Eau Tendre has really grown on me. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Hyacinth with Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Hyacinth and Jasmine feel carefully balanced. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.
