   Chanel knows how to compose, and Le Lion Eau de Parfum (2020) is proof. The very first sniff is crisp Bergamot with Lemon peeking through, very much my kind of start. The base rests on Patchouli and Madagascar Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I picked up Le Lion Eau de Parfum (2020) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Right away I get mostly Bergamot alongside Lemon, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown leans on Patchouli plus Madagascar Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   I picked up Le Lion Eau de Parfum (2020) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The first minutes are all about Bergamot with a hint of Lemon — it grabs attention without being pushy. The very first sniff is crisp Bergamot with Lemon peeking through, very much my kind of start. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   Picked up a sample of Le Lion Eau de Parfum after reading the community buzz (2020). As it settles, Patchouli and Madagascar Vanilla come through and give it real depth. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Labdanum with Amber, which is where the fragrance really shines. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   I’ve been wearing Le Lion Eau de Parfum on and off for a few weeks now (2020). Right away I get mostly Bergamot alongside Lemon, fresh and very easy to wear. That first spray gives a lovely Bergamot/Lemon impression that dries down smoothly. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

The opening is built around Bergamot and Lemon — bright and immediately recognizable. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I would happily buy a full bottle.
