   A decant of Vanilla Planifolia sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The heart is the best part for me: Vanilla and Vanilla Orchid feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Vanilla with Vanilla Orchid comes forward — smooth and well done. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   I’ve been wearing Vanilla Planifolia on and off for a few weeks now (2020). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Vanilla with Vanilla Orchid, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Vanilla and Vanilla Orchid feel carefully balanced. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I would happily buy a full bottle.

A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
