   Everyone keeps talking about Casmir, so I finally gave it a proper test. Give it a little time and Geranium with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. The very first sniff is crisp Peach with Coconut peeking through, very much my kind of start. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   My first Chopard experience was this one, Casmir (1992). The heart is the best part for me: Geranium and Jasmine feel carefully balanced. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Geranium with Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   I keep reaching for Casmir more than I expected to. The very first sniff is crisp Peach with Coconut peeking through, very much my kind of start. As it settles, Vanilla and Amber come through and give it real depth. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   A friend passed me a decant of Casmir (1992) and I wasn’t prepared for it. That first spray gives a lovely Peach/Coconut impression that dries down smoothly. The opening is built around Peach and Coconut — bright and immediately recognizable. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

    I’ve been wearing Casmir on and off for a few weeks now (1992). The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. That first spray gives a lovely Peach/Coconut impression that dries down smoothly. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
