   For a 2018 release, Happy Chopard – Bigaradia deserves more attention than it gets. The very first sniff is crisp Bitter Orange with Neroli peeking through, very much my kind of start. The heart is the best part for me: Orange Blossom and Honey feel carefully balanced. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   Chopard knows how to compose, and Happy Chopard – Bigaradia (2018) is proof. The heart is the best part for me: Orange Blossom and Honey feel carefully balanced. The base rests on Cedar and Labdanum — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I picked up Happy Chopard – Bigaradia (2018) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. As it settles, Cedar and Labdanum come through and give it real depth. That first spray gives a lovely Bitter Orange/Neroli impression that dries down smoothly. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   I’ve been wearing Happy Chopard – Bigaradia on and off for a few weeks now (2018). The very first sniff is crisp Bitter Orange with Neroli peeking through, very much my kind of start. Right away I get mostly Bitter Orange alongside Neroli, fresh and very easy to wear. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   A friend passed me a decant of Happy Chopard – Bigaradia (2018) and I wasn’t prepared for it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Orange Blossom with Honey, which is where the fragrance really shines. That first spray gives a lovely Bitter Orange/Neroli impression that dries down smoothly. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

That first spray gives a lovely Bitter Orange/Neroli impression that dries down smoothly. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.
