   I have owned Madness for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. That first spray gives a lovely Pink Pepper/Pink Litchi impression that dries down smoothly. The very first sniff is crisp Pink Pepper with Pink Litchi peeking through, very much my kind of start. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   Picked up a sample of Madness after reading the community buzz (2001). Right away I get mostly Pink Pepper alongside Pink Litchi, fresh and very easy to wear. The opening is built around Pink Pepper and Pink Litchi — bright and immediately recognizable. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   A couple of wears in, Madness has really grown on me. The base rests on Woody Notes and Palisander Rosewood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The very first sniff is crisp Pink Pepper with Pink Litchi peeking through, very much my kind of start. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   I keep reaching for Madness more than I expected to. That first spray gives a lovely Pink Pepper/Pink Litchi impression that dries down smoothly. Give it a little time and Rose with Hibiscus comes forward — smooth and well done. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   My first Chopard experience was this one, Madness (2001). The base rests on Woody Notes and Palisander Rosewood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Right away I get mostly Pink Pepper alongside Pink Litchi, fresh and very easy to wear. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   My first Chopard experience was this one, Madness (2001). As it settles, Woody Notes and Palisander Rosewood come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Woody Notes plus Palisander Rosewood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.
