   I’ve been wearing Oud Malaki on and off for a few weeks now (2012). As it settles, Agarwood (Oud) and dark woodsy notes come through and give it real depth. The very first sniff is crisp Grapefruit with Lavender peeking through, very much my kind of start. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I keep reaching for Oud Malaki more than I expected to. The first minutes are all about Grapefruit with a hint of Lavender — it grabs attention without being pushy. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Tobacco with Spices, which is where the fragrance really shines. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

The base rests on Agarwood (Oud) and dark woodsy notes — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
