   A friend passed me a decant of Acqua Neroli (2018) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The drydown leans on Musk plus Ambrette (Musk Mallow) and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Neroli with Orange Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   A friend passed me a decant of Acqua Neroli (2018) and I wasn’t prepared for it. Give it a little time and Neroli with Orange Blossom comes forward — smooth and well done. The first minutes are all about Bergamot with a hint of Sicilian Orange — it grabs attention without being pushy. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   Everyone keeps talking about Acqua Neroli, so I finally gave it a proper test. The very first sniff is crisp Bergamot with Sicilian Orange peeking through, very much my kind of start. The base rests on Musk and Ambrette (Musk Mallow) — warm, grounded and easy to live with. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I keep reaching for Acqua Neroli more than I expected to. That first spray gives a lovely Bergamot/Sicilian Orange impression that dries down smoothly. The base rests on Musk and Ambrette (Musk Mallow) — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   I picked up Acqua Neroli (2018) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. As it settles, Musk and Ambrette (Musk Mallow) come through and give it real depth. That first spray gives a lovely Bergamot/Sicilian Orange impression that dries down smoothly. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   A friend passed me a decant of Acqua Neroli (2018) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The heart is the best part for me: Neroli and Orange Blossom feel carefully balanced. The very first sniff is crisp Bergamot with Sicilian Orange peeking through, very much my kind of start. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Acqua Neroli. Right away I get mostly Bergamot alongside Sicilian Orange, fresh and very easy to wear. The opening is built around Bergamot and Sicilian Orange — bright and immediately recognizable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.
