   I picked up Clean Skin (2012) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Give it a little time and Dew Drop with Vanilla comes forward — smooth and well done. That first spray gives a lovely Mountain Air/Lotus impression that dries down smoothly. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   A friend passed me a decant of Clean Skin (2012) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The base rests on White Musk and Cashmere Wood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The heart is the best part for me: Dew Drop and Vanilla feel carefully balanced. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   Clean knows how to compose, and Clean Skin (2012) is proof. As it settles, White Musk and Cashmere Wood come through and give it real depth. The very first sniff is crisp Mountain Air with Lotus peeking through, very much my kind of start. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Clean Skin. As it settles, White Musk and Cashmere Wood come through and give it real depth. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Dew Drop with Vanilla, which is where the fragrance really shines. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

Right away I get mostly Mountain Air alongside Lotus, fresh and very easy to wear. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

Sadly this one does not work on my skin.
