   Picked up a sample of Coach Blue after reading the community buzz (2020). Give it a little time and Ozonic notes with Black Pepper comes forward — smooth and well done. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Ozonic notes with Black Pepper, which is where the fragrance really shines. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Ozonic notes with Black Pepper, which is where the fragrance really shines. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Coach Blue. The very first sniff is crisp Lime with Absinthe peeking through, very much my kind of start. Right away I get mostly Lime alongside Absinthe, fresh and very easy to wear. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   I keep reaching for Coach Blue more than I expected to. As it settles, Cedar and Amber come through and give it real depth. The base rests on Cedar and Amber — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   Everyone keeps talking about Coach Blue, so I finally gave it a proper test. The heart is the best part for me: Ozonic notes and Black Pepper feel carefully balanced. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Ozonic notes with Black Pepper, which is where the fragrance really shines. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   A friend passed me a decant of Coach Blue (2020) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The drydown leans on Cedar plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The heart is the best part for me: Ozonic notes and Black Pepper feel carefully balanced. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

The composition is well made but not for me.
