   A decant of Comme des Garcons sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. As it settles, Honey and Incense come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Honey plus Incense and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I picked up Comme des Garcons (1994) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The very first sniff is crisp Clove with Cinnamon peeking through, very much my kind of start. The base rests on Honey and Incense — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. The composition is well made but not for me.

   Picked up a sample of Comme des Garcons after reading the community buzz (1994). The very first sniff is crisp Clove with Cinnamon peeking through, very much my kind of start. Give it a little time and Coriander with Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   My first Comme des Garcons experience was this one, Comme des Garcons (1994). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Coriander with Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. Right away I get mostly Clove alongside Cinnamon, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

As it settles, Honey and Incense come through and give it real depth. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
